September 2, 2016 Marriage is the best :D I can't complain about it, i'm married to my best friend what is greater than that? NOTHING! Reception was at Castle Park in Lindon, Utah. Trust In The Lord

Today i've been pondering where my life is going... Gosh life is crazy. Today was a hard day i'm so blessed to have great friends in my life that help me and give me great advice. Today i did some things that for me were a huge step in my life... shut some doors in my life. Thanks to one of my best friends Cora (Thanks Cora! I Love ya!) Everyone should check out her blog it's amazing! She always keeps reminding me that i deserve something awesome in my life, gosh we all need great friends to remind us that we all deserve happiness and something great! So YAY for Aurora! i had to tell some of my best friends and they were so proud... guys it was a huge deal!!! I've been praying for a miracle this past month but its the Lords Will not mine i need to remember that... Things do happen for a reason, people come and go in your life. I just need to Trust in the Lord and remember that he has a plan for me. I'm so blessed to have great friends in my life... One of my best friend cora knows what i'm going through.. she went through the same thing. Disappointment. She has been such a great help! She sent me a great scripture randomly

Heavenly Father hears our prayers and wants us to succeed in life. We need to be happy. I was on twitter and i follow LDS Quotes and all the Mormon quotes which i love!!! and i've been coming across great quotes:

"In his own time and in his own way, the Lord will bring about his miracles." - Elder Anderson

"Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive" - Matthew 21:22

I was talking to my friend Paula... i basically moved into a new ward Orem 24th ward it's so great everyone is so friendly and i made awesome friends already. We had a serious conversation talking about miracles.. How can we get a miracle? Is it just faith? Too basic? I was talking to her and said i know its faith of course it's faith and I do have strong faith and I do believe that with God ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. But i do know it is much more than Faith. But why isn't the Lord giving me my miracle? I'm a good girl, i have a strong testimony in the gospel and everything, i read my scriptures daily, i try to attend the temple once a week and etc... Why isn't he giving it to me? I was distraught ( It was one of those days) She said,

"That things will happen, but in his timing. As wman we are expected to try our best to receive the education we need and become physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionall fit and when God feels it is right, he will send taht miracle. It does require a lot of diligence and patience on our part, but we have to be persistent and work hard receive those blessings that he wants us to have."

I texted my friend Fanny and asked her a question and she called me right up and was like i'm off work and i'm going to pick you up and we will go for a drive and talk.. (don't i have amazing friends?!!) I asked her WHY FANNY?!!! she said the same thing & its all about where God wants us to be, that we are doing the right things and knowing this is where the Lord wants me to be doing right now! My other Best friends Tyson Steele and Erik Spindler Gosh they have been there since day one with this problem.. ( I LOVE YOU GUYS!!)... they keep giving me advice and sometimes i'm like but noooooo what about this haha i should have listened to them. I texted them today and they repsonded quickly letting me know that they will always be there for me haha Which tyson said,

" I'll always be there for you. Unless i'm dead. But even then, i'll try my best to speak from the grave. :) "

On a randome note... We all need to surround ourselves with great friends! True friends gosh I'm so blessed to have true friends in my life! you know who you are!! True friends will always be there for you no matter what! :D & that they will remind you that they love ya! They will help you back up when you fall and will tell you what's up!!

It's all about the Lords Timing. He knows what is best for us. we need to Trust in him. Proverbs 3:5

"Trust in the Lord with all your Heart"

We just need to be patient and it will come. Believe it will come! Keep moving forward with Faith! i know My Savior Lives and he knows what i'm going through and he is always there and he died for me so i can return with him. Which i end with one of my favorite songs that reminds me that God Loves us and he is right by our side to pick you up when you fall.

God is for Me.

For Valentines Day I received a book I WANTED!!! it's called For Time Of Troubles By Jeffrey R. Holland. Everyone needs to go and buy this book right NOW!!! Gosh i have so much respect for this Man. I can say he is my favorite apostle. Before i die i want to meet Elder Holland, this is on my bucket list for sure! Life surely has its ups and downs. One day i'm like YES I CAN DO THIS!! I'm Freaking AURORA PALACIO, i'm strong! Other days... its like WHYYYYYYYYYYY. I came across a section in the book which Elder Holland States, God is for me. Which starts off with the psalms 56:9:

"When i cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back this i know; for God is for me."

I got thinking this is so true, God is for ME. He is always there for me, just a prayer away. At times we feel alone and feel like nobody understands what we are going through & things are just not working out... God is always there. I can testify of this. The trials i've been going through i know i need to go through them to make me a stronger and better person. Just pour your heart out to Heavenly Father, he always listens to us and he is working on our prayers. Patience is the Key. Just tell him everthing you are feeling and he will give you comfort! Elder holland states,

"So in our efforts to swim through our sea of troubles, we must master this thought; God is for us. He is never against us"

God wants us to be happy, never sad. He wants us to succeed in life. Things don't work out sometimes and you just need to keep the Faith and Believe that things will work out in the end. Like the quote by President Hinckley, one of my favorites:

Just like in Proverbs 3:5 says: TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART Be happy!! Things will work out! Church is true! remember GOD IS FOR US. NEVER AGAISNT US.

My conversion story/ Becoming Closer to Christ

I don't usually do punctuations because i'm just putting all my thoughts down. Gosh, where to begin.. Here it goes>>> I was born into the church, two missionaries found my mother and taught her the lessons, she knew it was right & she helped convert my dad. My parents Jose and Rocio got married in the Washington D.C temple. I was born and raised in Yonkers, New York (i'm still a new yorker even if i lived in Utah longer now). My parents put my sister and I into a private Catholic school Mount Carmel St. Anthony. I was the only mormon in my grade and everyone was mainly Catholic and I had 2 best friends that was Muslim and Buddhist. Each friday we would go to the Catholic church and have friday mass. I thought it was awesome the nice church, singing hymns and we listen to the Priest named Father Divinchi every friday.Father Divinchi was a great man he would come into class and have these little post cards with scriptures and Pictures of Jesus on it. Everyone would run to him and ask for the postcards, i did it too. it was fun.

Ash Wednesdays was my favorite thing we would go to the Catholic church and stand in line and get a cross on our forehead. It was the best thing ever. I would come home and ask so many questions about religion to my parents. I was confused. My parents would explain that i was Mormon, that i didn't do ash wednesdays or go to mass on friday and have the Hostia(bread) which i always wanted to try. When my friends and got together we would go to my Friends place and i would see Buddha on their kitchen counter. I would listen to my friends talk about religion and i would just think What on earth?! So this is where the thing started my parents thought it was time to move. At the age of 10 my mom decided that she was going on a roadtrip with her sister and brother and she brought us along... and my other cousins from virginia. It was july and we had no school so it was perfect to travel. I'll tell ya what... Longest trip of my life! New york to Utah...Driving the whole way we stopped like twice and that was it. We arrived in July of 1999 nice and dry Utah. Utah is a completely different world from New York. Friendly people all around and they were mormon like me which i was like woah!!! I could ride my bike outside alone without being jumped or supervised. It was the best feeling ever. My mom knew it was right to move to utah. We went back home and my parents talked about Utah and it was best choice for my sister and I. So my dad got a job transfer to utah he left before us it was the hardest thing ever to see my dad leave but i knew we would see each other in 6months.

My mom told us we were moving and it was the worst news ever. I didn't want to leave... New Friends, new school, new house, & moving to UTAH? yeah no way jose i was moving. i didn't want to go, utah was just fun for vacation but i didn't want to move there. I could honestly say it was the best decision my parents made. I'm 23 Now and gosh if i didn't move i would be a completely different person. New york is different i would probably not be into the church and not have a strong testimony. The first time i realized i believed in Christ... I still remember the feeling i felt, i'm having that feeling right now just thinking about it. I was going in for a yearly interview with the 2nd councelor Brother Vogelsberg. He was just asking me questions about life and i answered and he got quiet and said "Aurora, do you know your savior lives?" and i remembered that emotional feeling i got like i just wanted to cry because the spirit testified to me at that moment that i knew my Savior lives and he is my God. Greatest freeling ever!

I recently was called to be a relief society teacher. That was my biggest fear ever teaching... I'm Aurora, i hate speaking in front of a crowd and being the center of attention and i couldn't do it. The bishop called me in and said "I want to call you to become a Relief society teacher." I replied, "Bishop, i can't even speak in sacrament meeting for 5min i don't think i can teach haha." he answered and said i know you will bring something to the relief society. Planning my Lesson on Hope of God's light by President Uchtdorf... This lesson was so for me. God works in many ways. There is a light at the end of the Tunnel. Even if you feel alone you are not alone... God is there and you just need to talk to him and pour out your heart. 5 months ago i was struggling with things and asking God why me?! i felt so alone. I didn't understand why this happened to me it was a major change in my life. it was hard!

My little sister Katherine she is on a mission right now (Trujillo, Peru). I sent her a email to pray for me and tell her life was hard and Satan was attacking me from every directions.She replied saying,

hello!!!!!!!!!!! i always pray for you trogs!!!! dont worry. read D/C 121 7-8 yeah life is tough at times trust me here i had a butt load of problems. yeah, oh dear old satan he knows how good you are and how great you are going to be like it says in jsh vers 25 i think that he knows how great we will be and he does everything possible so that we will trip and be like him miserable but if we do everything right like you go to the temple, read, go to church pray yeah he is already losing. you are a good person a good daughter of God and nothing can make you trip nothing can bring you down you are brave and strong Aurorita! trust in the Lord like prov 3 5. trust and obey all you can do. there is a reason for so many trials and temptations so that we can learn that is why we came to earth to learn and to be tried to see how great we can be and how we can overcome our trials and with those trial we can help others. just like Joseph Smith he had a lot of temptations trial but he kept going. I love you, stay strong!! Hermana Palacio"

" Gosh this helped me so much. I started reading my scriptures daily and going to the temple every week & started reading Jesus the Christ. Gosh my Savior is amazing, I'm so much closer to God and i'm still learning more and more about him everyday. I get little miracles everyday, I know its him helping me and not leaving my side. he will always be by my side and never leave. God's Love never changes. I KNOW this church is true and I KNOW my Savior lives! I'm a mormon i know it i live it and i LOVE IT! The church is True!

Fam[ily] My Life

I just wanted to do a little post about my family. I Freaking Love my family... You guys have no idea like LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Without them i would be nothing. My family = Bomb.com My family consists of a Mother, Father and 1 Sister. I'm just so grateful for everything they do for me. My dad oh jeez where to begin... Jose Palacio was born in Baranquilla, Colombia. He has 4 brothers and 1 sister. My dad went into pre-med half of medical school he couldn't finish it all because he had to help his family out. He wanted to help out his mother. He came over to the United States with his little brother to help out his family and help his mom out with everything and provide a better life for his family. I love my dad. He is the best man ever. My mother: She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She has 4 Brothers and she is the only girl. She came to the U.S. because she didn't believe that snow was real. She was determine to go see the snow and she decided to stay. My Sister: Is Amazing! i love her to death. Like all sisters we fight and stuff but we always make up fast...She is bomb.com i look up to her so much... i love my little sister.

Now Cousins... I LOVE THEM. What will i ever do with out them? We are so tight. We have cousin night out... oh jeez Oh man they are thee best. i just love them. We grew up with each other.We just always party. Having Sunday Dinner every other Sunday's, Friday Social, Girls night out with the girls, Sushi run. Photo Shoot with the cousins. After the photo shoot, we were all starving so we were like lets go out to dinner and we hit up a chinese restaurant. oh man good memories. Going to the movie to see Despicable Me in 3D ha,ha. It was great. The truth is i rather just chill at home with my cousins then go out and see a movie with friends... Crazy eh?! yup that is how legit my cousins are. I tell ya my family is amazing. My guy cousins oh my gosh talk about protective.... Like jeez. You know the saying, " You mess with the bean, You get the whole burrito..." I tell you what that is freaking true haha. I don't have any brothers in my family, my guy cousins are like my brothers...When they see me on a date they see the guy and just randomly.... not saying hi... If you touch her i'll kill you. Everytime they see me with a guy... or If i'm talking to a Guy friend and my cousin Josh see's me and he is like we need to talk come, I was like what's up? He just says don't talk to him because he is a Fag haha. oh man yep that is my guy cousins :P Para Todos mis primos en Ecuador y Colombia: LOS AMOooooooooooooooo I have legit family in ecuador and colombia i just love them dearly. i always have fun when i'm down there. they are so welcoming. They are Bomb.com Los amo tanto! Estoy tan agradecida de tengo primos increíble. Dios me dio una Familia increible.
